Regarding the Gear Lever...
Have you tried Cycling the Gear UP/DOWN then re-saving the default flight ?

It sounds like the gear is selected UP in FS when it loads.

P3D is independent. so it doesn't matter what version you're running.
It doesn't even need to be running.

Route Offset is not currently implemented... But I'm aware that it's unavailable and plan to implement it soon.
