That's a fair point, there have been many things I've bought from continental Europe and in the UK (not just flightsim related) where the advertised price suddenly grew as VAT only appeared by stealth ...

the PDFs that Jon sent are old but still written after my throttles were made and there are some differences between them but they were close enough to enable me to do the job ...

Not sure what you mean - the two legs should be different lengths, that is the way to tell them apart. Anode and Cathode is correct.
