Any version of Project Magenta will just about work with any version of flight Sim from FS98 to FSX...
I think youll be safe
Why don't you just update? Its free...

Nope just download the latest update and install into your pre-exsisting respective pm folder.
I actually ran into an odd issue that, just like anything else, was fixed in the recent version. Upgrading resolved the issue. So good to stay on top of that.
