Hi,

I've just installed the overhead panel in the shell. Now, I'm wondering where it is the best place to mount the sysboards and the IBLs.

Can anyone give me some advice, on wheere the best location is to mount them? A picture would be nice also, if possible.

I'm also planning to do some rewiring, so no problem there.

Thx. Wink

Our team mounts the electronics up over the Aft Overhead. Easy access and lots of space back there.
You need to plan for that with enough excess wire to allow the two overheads to swing down as they do in the real aircraft.

Thanks Peter,

But does this mean I have to drill holes in the roof? Or, am I crashing here... Smile

We do drill small holes and use stand-offs (always use stand-offs on pc boards). If your shell is black we use black screws, aluminum we use silver screws. Heads of the screws are on the outside top.

Not noticeable and aerodynamic. If you worry about pressurization, make sure they are tight. Very Happy
