Hi,

I was wondering what the AFDS Display Potentiometer drives.
Is this the LED Strip at the MCP height?

I can't find any references for this.
(bill bufflers' manual, MRG manual, nor my study manuals).

And what about the Background potentiometer?

Both are located on the MIP on the CPT side...

Any help is appreciated.

We use the Background for the lighting above the MCP. The AFDS is for the 3 (CA/Center/FO) under glare lights that illuminate the AFDS area on the MIP.

It is all in the wording when you research it. I am still trying to find the exact lighting configuration. I am happy with the way we do it.
