All depends what aircraft?

B737, B747 and A320 are 5V (Bulbs)

B777 is 3V (LED's)

i have 2 radiopanels both are grey, so for a-320. with 5 volt they dont shine very well, only very low. transpondr is also 5 volt and shines very much brighter. separate tested with 5 volts 2 amps powersource.

on the distributor board there are 2 different input. 1 with 5 volt and 1 with 12 volt. seems that the radios hung on 12 volt. can this be correkt ?

If you are trying to power it with 2 amps it is probably not enough.
Having all 3 connected to 5V with 2.0 amps will not do it. You need something with bigger amps.

Do NOT use 12V to power the IBL.

12V for the Transponder to power the module is correct.
