Hey everyone as I was finishing the input wiring for the MIP I noticed the wiring diagram does not include the nosewheel steering, N1 set, or Speed Ref switches. I am out of input slots (ports 33-47 left open for chronos)

Are these dummy switches, or do they interface elsewhere?

These switches are usually not wired.

1) The Nose Wheel Steering system can't be simulated as the Flight Model uses FSUIPC for the Steering Tiller. FSUIPC does not "disconnect" the hydraulics so switching to the Alternate system can't be simulated.

2) The N1 REF and Speed REF use special switches (5 position and a selector switch) and in most cases you would not be using these knobs anyway. From discussions with B737 pilots on the line the switches may be used once every few years to adjust 1 number for noise abatement out of select airports.

We do offer the N1 REF and Speed Ref in our Advanced version used in training so it is possible to add them, they are not cheap and as above not used daily. These items could be added later when you are flying along, the simulator is 99% built and you are thinking "what else can I add to my Sim?".

Steve,

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I appreciate the prompt response.
