Hi All,

Just about to put some windows into the FDS Shell and I'm planning to use 5mm perspex for this.

Have others experience using perspex/plexiglass for this and if so is 5mm thickness OK?

It seems to be a trade off between the sheet being rigid enough not to bow inwards, versus not so thick that it creates visual distortions.

Any thoughts?

Regards

Simon.

Polycarbonate sheet
5mm should be fine

Lexan is very easy to work with ( no cracking or splitting)

Attach the windows outside the shell
