Guys,
Shawn and I are back at the shop as of today and pushing into the various things that are bound to be awaiting us.
My inbox is sitting at 175 emails or so and I will need a few days to get through some of that.
The A320 Trainer install went quite well. Still one more trip for Shawn and alot of wiring for Frans at the other end but we are expecting to see this trainer running smoothly by xmas.
Special thanks to Shawn and Frans for the extra efforts on this project. Alot of new parts were involved and that is always nice to see but can also mean challenges. Toughest thing is working in "the field"...
Some pics to see the progress. The Nose sectional (PRO-M version) was pretty nice to see over there taking shape.

PC,

Amazing... and on wheels to boot!

It really ties the magnitude of the effort together with the start-to-finish photo series.

Nice job.

Nice work PC,

Is this new nose-section one of the new products mentioned at the Webinar?

I missed it here in Oz due to time zone, so will you posting the new products soon for those who missed out?

Thanks,

Nat

Really impressive. Just a bit far from the concept of "Home cockpit" thought like a compression of "Home made cockpit"... Wink

Looks great! Where's this A320 going to be, is it going to be open to the public (like a museum) or for an airline?

This FBT is in place at a Flight Training Facility. It will be in trainig mode in January. One more trip from Shawn and a few more runs up the highway for Frans and the unit is done from our end.
The Software is a blend between AST (Dual ECAM and Systems) and PM (PFD/ND/MCDU/FCU).
The beauty of this project is the development being done. Small tweaks that we found are being done and from there we are able to produce this type of setup based on schedule not ability. Shawn did an amazing job on the Design Engineering while Frans made the whole wsetup "breathe".
Many more people involved as you know but they were the big push.
The B737NG is in the same stages here. We have similar contracts in place that will push development for us as well.
