The FDS-B737NG-ELEC-CAB-SYS unit is designed to manage the two primary "display/control" sections on the B737NG Overhead.

The ELEC portion of the package includes:
7 Segment Display Module
2 x VRS45PCB Units
Wiring and connectors

The Cabin Press portion includes:
Dual 7-Segment Displays
Dual Rotary Encoders/Knobs
Cable and Wiring

The FDS-B737NG-ELEC-CAB-SYS setup can be used as standalone units when connected to our SYS proprietary software. The complete Electrical and Cabin Press panel components can be wired to the module and connect via USB. Avionics software functionality is required for full implementation. Setup is done via FDS Provided XML files that are imported into our SYS software. Sets up in minutes. (IBL Panels and some hardware optional)

WOW! Fantastic product!

2 quick questions:

The price listed on the components page - is that for both ELEC and pressurization panel?

Can these goodies be used for existing panels out there? In other words: There is no lightplates involved here, just the digits, encoders and the electronic parts?

Thank you, Peter, for making such fantastic products available! This will probably save me a LOT of time which I can spend on other areas of the sim! Smile

Looks super!

Great timing as well Peter. I'm just assmbling the OVH.
Same question as vidarf: Is this the full package to integrate in the OVH? Are ther maybe some additional parts that we must check to easily integrate?

FDS is definately spoiling us again! Great job guys! Very Happy

I will try to write an "overview" here.

Customer "A" owns a full B737NG overhead, does not have functional Cabin Press Displays/rotaries nor the Electrical Panel Displays.
He can buy this package and mount the display elements for functionality (software dependent of course, PM system for example)....
The Rotaries from the Cabin Press panel can be wired to the new module to allow functionality as well.

Customer "B" has is building/buying a full setup and wants "everything" functional. He would wire his full overhead as he pleases, using FDS-SYS boards for example..
When he gets to the ELEC panel he can wire ALL the elements of that panel to the new Module here. Everything is supported, Selectors, toggles, 7 seg displays....
When he gets to the Cabin Pres panel, same applies.
He can wire the complete panel to the new module.

To get the modules running....
When you have the SYS software running these new modules will be detected and you simply import an XML file that we have available of download.

These are the first "Standalone" panels in our line for the NG. Because of all the elements involved it makes more sense to treat them differently than the other panels on the NG overhead that are switches/annuns...
FDS-SYS boards are a very effective/affordable way to bring all of them to life.

Guys,
Please know that we are non-stop on development.. We are not stopping to buy a new car or enjoy a new boat.. we re-invest and push forward.
we are deadly serious about delivering all the elements needed. We have full FBPTs to build this year and most if not all require all the elements we can bring to the device. The benefit here is that we have new parts all the time and with your support we can produce enough each time to make them affordable. The Canadian dollar is quite low right now so for folks looking at pricing, when you factor that in you are doing very well.

Hope this helps explain... all the best to everyone.

Dear Peter,
My congtads and accolades for another leap forward in a new and bold technologhy which in your hands seems do knoe NO bounds.
Maybe you spend a little time in a money replicator device that would automaticcally prorate ones seriouness and care for detail against a monet multiplier rate( this wold work retrociplicaly for seller based on certain other buyers factors, such as financial hardship[LOL] Untill I can write and include the transfer of funds nonosnse such as you might find abv is all I can offer.I have spent several hundred dollers on semi- functional modules from eBay (lightable)
until then please understand that I wanted to express my sincere admiration for what you are doing and the level of craftsmanship going into your products. Its all VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Nice piece of new hardware! Will this module also work for the battery voltage panel in the A320?

Hi,

I've just installed the ELEC/CABIN components. Very Happy

Only one question: Where can I find the XML file?
I'm running version 2.3.0.100.

Thanks,

Geert
