Just because I had this clock / Chrono idling on a shelve, I decided to customize the AFT "à la BBJ"

It can keep track of the flight duration in hours and minute at the touch of the button on the right. Uses 5-12V from the DC bus.
Two modules are real OEMs , the Inertial nav panel keypad/display and the Audio panel
The quality of the FDS panels allows a perfect blend between repros and OEMs

Hey Jack
That gauge looks excellent, is that a original 737 gauge?

Cheers
Michael

Note:
Some older images on this post were hosted by Photobucket.
As they change their policy and ask nearly $400 to continue their 3rd party hosting I decided not to upgrade and accordingly many pics are not available anymore.

Jack
Edit: Working on it and reposting pics one by one from a new host- Will take some time ..lol

Edit: Done, back in business !

Got two fans for the "pacs"
To be interfaced with the FDS relay card I suppose.
About 5" across and easy to hook up to some tubing going to Wemacs.
(Nick, thank you for the tip)

Nice Jack
Just for the sound or yo going to duct AC into the flight deck?
If you have double pole pack switches on the packs you can wire them up direct.

Cheers
Michael

There are 2 assignments for L and R Packs that can control a relay to the fan motors. One for each side.

I will use those blowers with the relay card.

Another first:
Oxy pressure Test button
As the real one (on the upper right side) is only a mechanical device which releases some real pressure (Psheeet sound) I installed a red button (same red as the mask tab) which will be interfaced to the MIP sysboard , allowing Sim-Avionics to play the famous "Psheeet" wav. when pressed to test!!

This is detail or what ! Wink

Some early pictures:

Cold and dark. Sim-Avionics running with some FDS new hardware , all cold except the RMI (supposed to be mechanical!
( backlighting still has to be shut off with PSU green wire))

Batteries on, FO side remains dark:

Ground power on (or APU) all lit up

Yabada badooo !

Just sharing... Very Happy
