As I am getting more and more into details concerning my B777 flightdeck, I was wondering what MSFS aircraft model, panels, sounds and what PM aircraft configuration files other B777 builders are using.

My configuration: (I am running FS2004)
As aircraft model I am using the B777-200ER from Meljet (Melvin Rafi).
As aircraft panel I am still using the default Microsoft B777-300 panel.
I am not sure about the sounds yet, but I like the TSS sounds (Turbine Sound Studios) a lot.
As aircraft configuration file for Project Magenta I am using the default "B777236ER.txt" file from the PM website. (had to adjust the flap positions, they didn't match with the default MS B777-300 panel)

Any suggestions or ideas to this setup are very welcome!

Math,
first I have to compliment you on your B777 setup. It's been an inspiration for me for years!

I use the MelJet 777-200ER as well, but use the awesome Sim-Avionics suite for instrument displays, CDU, MCP/overhead logic, checklists, etc... I also use a GE90-94B sound set (can't remember from where, though).

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply!
I have seen your work before and in fact it gave me the inspiration to take a close look to the Sim-Avionics software. At this moment I am using PM, but without the PM-Systems module. I am still not sure if I am going to use this module, or if I am going to make a complete switch to Sim-Avionics. Since I am using my home build interface, I was worried about interfacing to Sim-Avionics. But the tests I am running now on the demo software are running just fine.
One thing I know for sure: There is more then PM only! Wink

Regards,
Math
