Hi,

I'm installing the CDU into the MIP. After installation, I started the controller and then the Sim-A CDU application. All functions ok. Except that I have at the top a blue border with a white line in it.

The resolution is set to 800x600.
When I set it to 640x480, the top blue border and white line are gone, but I can't set the refresh rate any higher than 60Hz, which results in flickering of the screen. Anything (refresh rate) higher results in showing "Out Of Range".

I want to keep the 800x600 resolution but I want to get rid of the blue bar and white line at the top.

Settings:
FULL_SCREEN=1 'So no window is shown.
WINDOW_LEFT=3840
WINDOW_TOP=0
WINDOW_WIDTH=800
WINDOW_HEIGHT=600

I tried to change the line settings in the ini file as well as on the back of the CDU V-SYNC. But, this does not resolve anything. It stays there no matter what I try.

PS I have the same result when entering in TEST mode.

Am I missing something?
What can I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any help in advance! Embarassed

Hi Geert,

Latest video drivers installed?

Can you try the CDU on a different PC? Laptop even?

Also try running 1024 x 768 to test.

Also in Sim-A you can run the CDU in Bezel mode and then drag the CDU to the CDU screen and press the "End" key on your PC keyboard. This will enable "Full Screen" in the CDU. Then use "Line Setup" to align the CDU lines.

Hi Steve,

Yes, the latest drivers were installed before proceeding.

It has been solved by setting the resolution to 1024x768.
Though now I revceive an error:

"Access violation at address 0054757C in module CPT_CDU.exe. write of address 00000001."

How can I resolve this? Rolling Eyes

For the record, I'm running SIM-A V1.30

Should I move the post to the SIM-A support section? Question

Thanks for the help. Cool
