David, thanks for the info and I have had another person tell me the same.
Didn't think about the E-bay method of purchase, that's a good idea.

That's the only way I would buy them.

FO side J-Rails are now installed. Tomorrow's job is to modify the seat and mount the truck to the seat.

One project I have been planning to do is tow vinyl wrap the outside of the nose section.

One of the problems with a livery for the top half of the nose sections is that on a majority of aircraft it would be simply white.

I am going to base the "livery" roughly on the old American Airlines livery with red, white and blue wide stripes with most of the nose being white to cover the raw aluminum.

Need to find or have made some Boeing 737-800 stickers made for each side of the nose.

David,

If you can find a good quality Boeing Logo you want and can save it as a .JPG, BMP etc a good print shop should be able to scale it to the proper size.

Thanks George, that's probably the route I will go. I did find some "Boeing" fonts so I should be able to make whatever I want.

More progress on the vinyl wrap.

I have spent the last day building a new computer for Prepar3D. It should be somewhat faster than the single PC I currently have running Prepar3d which is doing a fairly decent job driving 3 x 4K tv's. This build is part of my strategy to have one PC driving each of the 4K monitors using WideView with the eventual goal of adding two more 50" tv's driven by two of the PC to get a complete wrap around view.

For those that are interested the spec of the PC I just built are as follows;

CoolerMaster HAF X case (which I use for all my PC's
ASRock ATX DDR4 z170 OC Formula Mother board
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.00 Ghz CPU (overclocked to 4.6Ghz)
Western Digital Black 2TB Hard Drive
Samsung 850 EVO SSD
Corsair Hydro H100i liquid CPU cooler
Corsair RMx Series RM1000x 1000w PSU
Asus 24x DVD-RW optical drive
Gigabyte Geoforce GTX 1080 Turbo OC video card
HyperX Savage 32GB DDR4 2666 DDRAM
Windows 10 Home OS

New video.

https://youtu.be/-BH5y88Juh0

I think there is to much impact of braking on the aircraft model. It feels like the nose dives to much under braking using the virtual cockpit. I need to look at how to reduce this. I think there is a momentum setting in the camera.cfg for the VC.

Any thoughts?

Loved your video - especially impressed with the engine sounds (which sounded very realistic with the higher pitch audio that I don't hear with my Sim-A driven 737NG sim). What are you using as a source for your engine sounds?

Thanks,
Gordon

I think just the standard sounds that come with Sim - A. I'll have to double check.

I ended up making my own decals for the nose.
