The new FDS Push/Pull modules are designed with a clever balance between the real aircraft functionality and cost effectiveness.
In keeping with the A320/330/340 philosophy of "Selected" and "Managed" modes we have designed the units with outputs for both as well as rotary selection.
Pulling on the Knob will place the AutoPilot into "Selected" and gives the pilot the ability to alter the flight parameters. Pushing the Knob places the AutoPilot into "Managed" mode and hands control over to the MCDU.
Made from custom machined Brass and Plexi parts these units will fit easily in behind the FDS NOVA Flight Control Units (FCU) Panels. The spring loaded design adds an accurate feel to the unit.
