Hi, Yes, there is a lack of regional parts at the moment with every store focusing on the heavier crafts, but what you can find around are a lot of drawings and measurements by other builders. Join a place like mycockpit.org, and there have a look around at builders links and flick through them and ...

Fly Tampa Kai Tak is amazing! Below is a shot I took yesterday of it. No editing, straight from FS9.

Actually there was an interesting post over at mycockpit.org which just said, tell her what the real costs of aviation are and then compare them to a sim and the cost of that. Sims are as cheap as bread compared to real world aviation and all the training.

I can help you with the last question.

The MCDU comes as a complete set and pretty much 'Plug and Play'. The keys are included and the screen is included as well so you should pretty much have everything included when you purchase the unit.

Aerosoft scenery is a must have. Heathrow, Frankfurt, Budapest are all really great. The Fly Tampa set are to die for. Boston is free and the rest are unbelievable! If you fly around Asia, definitely get the Changi software, I have been told that is fantastic. If you fly around here where I live in ...

Your best bet is on ebay.

I had a mate who snatched a fantastic 747 quadrant about a week ago on ebay.

Yup there have been some changes.

One of them which I know 100% is that 1 of the standby analog gauges was replaced with the digital one you see in the picture. These new digital ones are on pretty much any airbus and boeing coming out of the factory, like those on the 777 and 787.

Well that is all completely different here in NZ.

The price for a 2 hour flight from memory is no more than $295NZ.

You get experience. My person was an ex-737 pilot who used to fly in Hong Kong so Kai Tak was a blast with him.

Finally my location comes in handy! I like to consider NZ, Middle Earth though :D I think the sims probably are FDS made because they have the backlighting like advertised. If you see my youtube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afd3ETOalfA , you can see the backlighting, and the left side was asw...

I went in one of those last year and it was great fun. Most people don't realise but I think alot of those parts are from FDS!
