Re: FDSTQ not seen by SysBoard Interface

Which version of the TQ is this? Powered or static (i,e, Jetmax) ?

Has it worked before?

Re: Is it time yet?

Thanks for your comments, Brad. Useful feedback.

Things are working fine with 4.5 so I guess a couple more months won't matter. Also, I believe we are near to new release of simA so I will wait till that comes out before I meddle....

Is it time yet?

P3D v5 has been out for a couple of months now and I have been sensible and have not immediately upgraded to this version……. Is it ok to proceed now? I am using SimA (737version) at present and I think that will be ok with an updated FSUIPC. I have many Orbix airports. Fly Tampa airports. Active Sky...

Re: Entering hold details

I experienced this today, trying to hold at the same hold already in the missed approach. It seemed to be set up correctly but just ignored the hold and continued on the plan. So thanks for the post, at least I understood what was happening and was able to adjust accordingly.

Hi Michael, I can give some feedback on your question. The two files actually have different names but are so similar its easy to overlook. The one copied from the TCP Client directory, to Windows ends _IPC.dll The one in the Server folder, the much older one, is named _IPC_.dll. I am not sure this ...

Jack I wondered that as well. Normally fly with RAAS off but just to test tried with it turned on and it made no difference. Also the sound triggers well before the RAAS points.

Larry, I confirm that I am also seeing this A/P disconnect warning sound while taxing for take off and approaching the runway hold point.
As you indicated the A/P has not been selected. Cleared by selecting A/P disconnect button on my yoke, twice.

Using 1.966C

Hi Mark, I tried 1.966C tonight (two Flights) and the Captains PFD is now in sync with MCP and A/P etc. However the ISFD is now showing approx. several hundred feet higher when switching to STD above transition altitude. This difference remains up to CRZ. At start of the flight, at ground level, and...

Thanks Denis. I just rolled back to 1.965 and the issue is fully resolved.

Suggest waiting for a newer release version than 1.966b.

Maybe this was still useful feedback for Mark.

Hi Steve, thanks for your suggestions. I looked at the ISFD box and it was checked. I thought you had aced it! However… I unchecked and saved the aircraft. Rebooted, new flight and no change. I looked at some of the config files to confirm the change had taken. I found LINK_BARO_OPTIONS = 1 as it ...

MCP altitude error

My acquired altitude when at cruise level is showing several hundred feet lower than planed in CDU and set on my MCP. This is new and I wonder if I have incorrectly changed something. Just to clarify. I plan to climb to FL 310 but the flight levels off at 30,670ft but in all other respects continues...

Unfortunately for me, after I tried to make a change in SYSboard settings I got an access violation error, repeatedly. So, its probably OK as long as you don’t make any changes.
