Flaps schedule on the speed tape in CPT PFD has disappeared

The flaps are extended as verified by looking outside at the wings, and the flaps gauge indicates the proper setting. The flaps "schedule" on the speed tape in PFD is no longer present, especially during final approach, making landing nearly impossible because a stall is entered when speed drops. Th...

resolved

Hi Mark, You can mark this thread as resolved. I have a faulty powered USB hub. It would disconnect the usb connection of the CDU and that display would go blank and then SimA would connect the display to the next available display and would save it. So, even restarting SimA would to "fix" the probl...

Thank you Mark, I now believe this to be a "symptom" as you suggest. I now believe the error is a result of a problem with the USB system. Yes--I have numerous FI gauges. And this could be the problem. I suspect that I am running out of USB resources. Another Error also pops us. It is "Writefile fai...

write file failed-sysboard controller error (Resolved)

This error shows up now, suddenly, when I start to move the airplane. My sim was working perfectly until today. Suddenly, after setting up a flight, after all is good, flight set up, all panels and software working, the MCP, CDU, and all simA panels will go blank and sys board controller locks up wi...

runway bump sounds

Mark, I figured out (finally) that it's not my "driving" on the runway, it's seems that the centerline of some of my add-on airport sceneries do not match up with what is the centerline for the bump sounds. so do you still plan to put a config line in to adjust the width of centerline to activate th...

thank you Mark. I suspected it was set in the code, but I needed to ask. And thank you for your consideration of a config parameter!! next I'll ask for "rumble strips on the side of the runways....HaHa, just teasing. what you have done with this sound is already awesome!! thank you for all your wond...

raw/taxiway bump sound question

Is there a way to "widen" the area that the centerline/taxiway bump sound activates? OK, so I'm a lousy driver on the ground. But I'd still like to hear the bump sound even when off to the side a good bit. In SA/Sounds folder, config file, there are the two bump sounds wavs on/off (activate;1 or 0) ...

RESOLVED

Well, after gentle pushing from both Peter and Steve, I went the distance and checked several 12V transformers I had laying around; 2.5, 2.0, 1.5, 1.0 AMP. I was both stunned, and happy, that only the 1.5amp worked. So, the board is OK. I guess I don't know my electronics like I thought I did, and i...

yes. correct power supply

Unfortunately, the correct voltage and amps are going to the board (from the power supply "bar" from the JM computer PS and/or from the transformer supplied with the board when I bought it). so, it looks as if the output "side" is not working. So I'll have to just purchase another one of the great b...

thanks Steve!

Thank you for the reply Steve. I was just inquiring if because of a new serial no. on a new board, if SimA would not use the saved output assignments. From your reply, that answer is NO. The new serial no. of a new board will NOT affect SimA's ability to use the old outputs. To answer your posit, "y...

sys4 board output side is not working (Resolved)

I use SA v1.85 with JM OH1, and other adding from other companies including FDS. I was using a sys4 board and was extremely happy with it. But now the output side is no longer working. The inputs side works great. If I buy a new sys4 board and replace the one I have, and just connect everything up t...

tried to go to 100ms

Hi Mark, I tried 200, and it helped significantly. So, I tried 100ms, and it helped even more. It's not immediate like it used to be, but it is a faster response than it was. Can I go lower? Will this change have an impact on "something else"?? By the way, my LED output timer was set to 300ms by def...
