Re: SA Not Responding

FWIW, I was running 2 GT610s originally on my avionics PC. I was getting issues with the wx radar and PFD freezing.

To cut a long story short, I went to 2 GT730 4gb cards which were relatively inexpensive and all the issues went away.

Re: WideServer not being seen by Sim A ( Resolved )

I would definitely assign fixed IPs to your PCs at your router end, saves so much hassle when troubleshooting

Re: Uncontrollable aircraft

Latest version of aircraft..... v old version of simA? why not upgrade as it might be the 2 versions are incompatible due to the AP upgrades of simA

Re: SimA WXR - P3DV5/ASP3D/FSUIPC6

There is another side effect of using true sky, currently with this enabled P3D does not allow for dynamic weather themes. So you get 1 giant area of static wx around you which changes with each wx injection. So even if AS wx radar output was working, the distant returns wont match the visuals. It’s...

Re: Floating when landing

Ive taken a look at the SimA 737 airfile, one part that I am stumped on is at flight idle around mach.20 the aircraft produces negative thrust values? I think there is an error elsewhere that is being compensated for using the wrong table, but given the amount of erroneous base coefficients in the F...

Depends on the power of your PC really, in my setup the sim PC is only used for P3d and running a sys controller/sound Here I run a 9700k oc@4.9 with an AVX-2 offest, GPU is a 1080ti with 32gb of fast RAM. FPS locked at 25 (refresh at 50hz) and FTFF=0.05 I have also been playing with running sim on ...

I used to get this, there are 2 factors and I dont think it will ever go away (unless v5 sorts is out, although FS2020 TA is looking promising) 1) OS stalling 2) Addons stalling the FS thread I have switched off all of windows defender and security settings for my sim pc nowadays, I also dont run an...

Sounds like you have duplicate events assigned to switches. Start with the system controller and check the assignments to each button press.

Kand, Your post was spot on. It looks like my FSUIPC inputs have been scrambled somehow. I'm guessing this can be a direct result of a Windows update. Thanks for everyones help! Austin I have now assigned letters to the HIDs in fsuipc.ini, its documented in the user guide T- throttle, Q-quadrant, T...

Do you all use FSUIPC to configure and assign your axis? I have just had an episode where presumably a windows update reset all of my USB HIDs, gave them new GUIDs. This meant FSUIPC assigned different numbers in the ini file to the joysticks breaking all assignements Solution, rename fsuipc.ini gen...

So to close my input out 777 fleet for major UK airline ranges from 1.01 (newest) to 1.05 oldest, so all in good nick! some of the 767s were at 8.4 before scrapping as the maximum The interesting part is that a brand new aircraft is not 0, that is a theoretically perfect airframe without paint and 1...
