Re: Entering hold details

Hi sorry I missed your post. I think the only way for us at the moment is to delete the hold after the runway......and then program it in. There's just no other way. I'm interested to know how this is overcome in the real deal. Surely there's a way without deleting anything. It sure a tough one. Tha...

Hi,

Can I just ask how you moved your switch assignments over to the V5 version of FSUIPC please.

Daniel,

Have you tried an arrival that has a go around programmed in containing a hold. If after you've entered this arrival into the FMC and you are issued a hold prior to this arrival you can't program it in. Please try the example a tried.

Thanks Daniel,

That's cured that problem nicely. Many flights later and the weather hasn't knocked me out of the sky once .

So finally running like a dream then up pops v5 :(

Stay healthy

Hi Daniel, I've written a macro to delete the shaders that does it automatically and often. I don't believe it's that. I've reverted to 1.96 the latest official version. I'm also in contact on activesky as I believe it could be a weather inject knocking my SIM. The sim itself runs like a dream at th...

Autopilot over reacting ? (Resolved)

Sometimes my SIM pauses for a second or two. Whilst this is largely unavoidable, pauses in turns can make my SA go crazy. It almost as if my p3d pauses but SA continues the turn/climb and when the sim starts again SA has to go mad to rectify the situation. Resulting in daft rates of climb or decent ...

Tried that Mark. It still recognises the hold as the one programmed into the go around procedure and as a result goes sailing past SARRA at least for me anyway.

Have you physically tried that method?

Sure. Thing is however you get to the hold page once there the go around hold will always be there it seems.

I think the only way will be to delete this go around hold and add it again afterwards.

Entering hold details

Guys, Today I was flying to LEBB and landing on runway 30. Whilst arriving I was told to enter the hold at SARRA. Easy I thought. So I went to the hold page and found the hold already there. The reason it was there I found was it is part of the missed approach. So how do I enter it again, the only o...
