Mark, My sincere apologies. I didn't subscribe to notifications on this topic and when I didn't get an answer within a few days I forgot about it. Sorry about that. Your suggestions and suspicions were spot on. With PAN_WINDOW=0 everything works and there is no dragging the window around anymore. Th...

Overhead GUI Moving Around (Resolved)

Hi Guys, I am using a touchscreen for the Overhead GUI. The issue I have is that more often than not the GUI moves half an inch or so when I touch it. It is not the window itself but the overhead GUI piece inside it. Is there a way to prevent this? The buttons/switches all work great. If I could jus...

Okay, 1.94 same deal. However, I did uncheck both "Load Initial State: Startup/Powerup" and now it is working. It takes 5s and then all displays come on, just like expected. I guess there is something in Initial_State.ini that is not good.

Problem solved.

Thanks again,

The 777 power up is a little different to the 737. The Battery switch should be selected to ON. Then a form of AC power is required to boot the displays. (ie APU, or Ext Power) Once AC is connected the DEU's start to boot up and a sequence of tests are run. On the Server > Control Panel : you have ...

Cold & Dark (Resolved)

Hi Guys, I just upgraded from 1.80 -> 1.90 -> 1.93 and I am having some issues with starting up the 777 from cold & dark mode. This is what I do 1) Click "Cold and Dark" on the server 2) On the Overhead I click Externa power 3) On OH click Primary External Power Now only the Lower Display / MFD ligh...

Thanks Mark, I was thinking 16:9 portrait (is that the lower right image?). And I do apologize for not giving you enough information. I am on the 777 so I am not sure how that would look. Some distortion might be okay but I see your point. One has to look at a larger display with an empty part of th...

Overhead GUI

Hi Guys, I have some questions on the Overhead GUI. As a real overhead is a bit on the pricey side I am looking at potentially use a touchscreen for a while. It has been discussed here before to some extent. I guess what I am confused about is the GUI’s ability to scale. It seems that while it can...

Version 1.90 - Document access without install

Hi Guys, Any way we can get access to documents like * LatestVersionInfo * ReleaseNotes.txt Without having to go through installation and find them in the \Documentation folder. It would allow us to look at the new features and bugs fixed and make a decision if I want to upgrade right now or hold of...

ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH together with Auto Weight and Fuel

Hi Guys, I would be interested to learn about any plans to support both ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH in the CDU configuration and "Auto Weight and Fuel" together. I know today that ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH works like a charm and is specifically useful when using shared folders and so on (e.g. to dump flight plans t...

Sorry for the long time it took to test this. I was traveling for a while.

So everything works if I disable the ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH.

Any plans on supporting the use of the ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH variable with Auto Weight and Fuel?

Cheers,

Aha. And I am putting it on a shared folder and have added the following to the CDU config ROUTES_FOLDER_PATH=\\<Server-Name>\flightplans\Routes\ I guess that will not make the server aware:-) I will try to work off a local folder (or stick the .sbr file in the regular ROUTES FOLDER as well) and see...

Thanks Mark!

Is this in the CDU? How can I enable logging / debugging? I remember back in the days I had a DEBUG directory full of files in the CDU folder. Not sure how I got that though as I am not getting any more files created there.

Thanks again,

I might be missing something here, but.... Why are you loading a .pln file into P3D ? Fuel loading will stop if the plane moves.... Those 'fuel loading guys' get a bit upset if that happens. ! :D You should reposition the aircraft prior to loading anything into the FMC. Hi Mark, Well, for the purpo...
