Re: Assumed Temp

So I just did another flight from KATL to EIDW with the following parameters. ZFW 386400 lbs TGW 498397 lbs. The wx conditions were winds 350/10 temp 30 alt 30.15 rwy 09L and according to TOPCAT calculations it suggested D-TO1 with assumed temp of 62 and N1 92.8 Speeds of V1 146 Vr 147 and V2 150. I...

Re: 777-300ER Fuel Imbalance

Hello Kand, Thank you for jumping in and offering a helping hand. Here is what I currently use for my posky 777-300ER aircraft.cfg file. Let me know what you think. [weight_and_balance] max_gross_weight=777000 empty_weight=370000 max_takeoff_weight = 775000.0 max_zf_weight=524000 max_landing_weight=...

Re: 777-300ER Fuel Imbalance

Hello Andrea, It was worth to give it a shot. I updated the aircraft.cfg file and added the SA interior and some other settings to the base POSKY 773, and everything works fine, except as mentioned on my first post, during long hauls (which is the purpose of the 777, lol) I end with a fuel imbalance...

Re: 777-300ER Fuel Imbalance

Hello Alex

All of those are valid points, and all the options have been checked for. The weird thing is that this fuel imbalance never happens when I fly the SA 772ER, it only happens when I fly the 777-300ER. So I wonder if I have to modify something in the aircraft.cfg file.

Re: 777 Engines don´t start anymore

Hello Alex, Just like Andrea mentioned this has happened to me more than a couple of times too. My TQ does not get recognized by windows nor P3D and the only way I get it to work is by unplugging the USB connector and re-plugging in. So, I got in the habit of just checking my parking brakes and exte...

777-300ER Fuel Imbalance

Hey guys, I have another consultation for you. Almost every time I fly the 777-300ER on long hauls, I get a fuel imbalance EICAS message, and even after going thru the procedure of shutting off the "light" side and cross-feed from the "heavy" side it never gets corrected. The engines just keeps seep...

Re: Assumed Temp & D-ATIS

Hello Thomas, I de-rated the engines as you suggested, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Even when TO2 was selected with an assumed temp. Of 65 deg it only limits my N1 to 95.1%. For some reason i it seems that cant get it to derate below 92%. I tried the same settings: weight, fuel, weather,...

Re: Assumed Temp & D-ATIS

Hello Thomas, I might have to do the same thing you did. The numbers you mentioned sounds a lot better than my Boeing 777 taking off in around 3000 ft or 1000m of runway, and climbing at over 4000 fpm. The other option could be to modify the perf data file but I have no reference to what numbers I s...

Assumed Temp & D-ATIS

Hello everyone, I don't know if this has been posted/discussed before but I couldn't find any old posts regarding these two questions, so I'm just going to ask and if it has already been discussed please point me in the right direction. How are you guys adjusting for assumed temperature on Sim-avion...

Re: SA Not Responding

Sooo, it turns out that Steve was right. I upgraded my GPU's to a 2GB cards, re-installed Sim-avionics software and now everything is running normally with no issues. Thank you everyone for taking the time to help me with all of this issue.

Re: SA Not Responding

What would be some GPU recommendations to run Sim-avionics in 5 monitors for my Jetmax 777??? What are you guys using?

Re: SA Not Responding

Hello Again Alex, I saw it, and never had an issue running this setup before, nevertheless based on his suggestion, I did a little trial and error experiment, and moved around my monitor connections. And surprisingly I believe he is right on the spot. So NOW with the new monitor connections it was m...

Re: SA Not Responding

Hello Michael, Sorry for the confusion. To answer the question, I do run the Sim-avionics server only on my avionics computer. What I was trying to explain on my last response is that when you run the installer for the jetmax, unlike the main installer for sim-avionics, we get two options for select...

Re: SA Not Responding

Hello Andrea,

I do run the server from the avionics pc. The only thing running on the flightsim computer is the sound module. I did install the flightsim components from the jetmax installer file. Everything else is ran by the avionics pc, PDF/ND, EICAS, MFD, Autopilot, Radios, Xpdr, etc.
