Hi Tron3212.... I have had a few problems with the flaps.... I've posted several times here asking for some assistance but so far no solutions I found and pointed out that the software flaps guage doesn't work amongst other issues with the flaps in general. However I did find a method that worked fo...

Fsuipc offsets for the ACP push buttons

Please can someone on the development team advise me how to assign fsuipc offsets for the ACP push button inputs.I can find nothing in the Fsuip_io.in inputs section, nothing in the documentation either. The inputs are available for all the ACP buttons in the sys board interface but as I am using op...

Hi Michael, the long list of the multifunction offsets are an alternative not an addition to the fsuip_io. Ini file. They are only inputs and use a single data value written to a 2 byte offset which you can define in the fsuip_io. Ini file. I've not found any functions there which add to those in th...

The weather radar tilt and gain are available via offsets using joystick axes but I can't find anywhere in the FSUIPC IO. Ini file an offset for the weather radar mode Selections. They are listed in the sys board interface but nowhere else that I can find. Without access to the mode commands it rend...

I think that's hit the nail on the head....The Sim-Avionics software seems to be geared towards using the interface cards and hardware from FDS using the sys board interface. However, if you are migrating from a cockpit which is interfaced using opencockpits or similar fsuipc offset based data conne...

I've had a lot of problems sorting out what the various sections are actually doing as well. In the end I just tried anything and everything until I got the result. I don't think that the Fsuipc offsets are as functional as the the FDS interface,it's been a struggle to get everything in my full cock...

Changing aircraft type avionics from 737 to 777

Hi, I have another problem for which I can find no references to in this forum. I am using version 1.91 in both the server and all displays. I initially set up the server as a 737 but wish to explore the 777 options . I have tried changing the aircraft.cfg to the 777 type..... http://i1383.photobuck...

ACP and Radio function FSUIPC offsets?

Hi , I'm trying to find how to assign FSUIPC offsets for most of these ACP, XPNDR and radio function switches and push buttons. I have found them all available as switch inputs in the Sys-Board interface as in the image below. However all my various radio and ACP panels are real OEM equipment interf...

The Saga continues.... First the good news, I managed to get the leading edge devices working properly and also the flap indications working on the EICAS. Now the not so good.... Although my setup is for the 737ng aircraft type I only managed to get flap indications by using the "DISPLAY_777_STYLE_F...

Just for completion, I defined a joystick button to use the "LE DEVICES TEST PUSHED" setting in the SYS board controller..... http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah304/mf/Capture5_zpsfezq869f.jpg Its the same result, it sends the values 2 and 18 to the offsets . Interestingly in the software overhea...

Hi Steve, I've done some further testing and I am now thoroughly confused as to what's happening with the FSUIPC offset facility. I set up the Leading edge offsets as you suggested... http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah304/mf/Capture1_zpsu8n9mw9e.jpg I then set up an offset for the leading edge l...

Hi Steve, I've tried exactly as you suggested but without any success...the behaviour of these offsets is the same as I previously found for any offsets I've tried. I changed the FSUIPC I/O interface script to match your suggestion and created a new SIOC script for my panel. With everything running,...

Hi David, it's all a bit confusing coming into this from my previous iFly737 pro setup. I suppose that when Mark Hastings is back from his break there will be some clarity. I followed your advice regarding local coding of the fire panels..that worked out very well. I'm pretty sure that all the reall...

Hi David, I know that range is “ reserved for Sim Avionics within Peter Dowson register but the offset range from 5400 onwards is also available as its not being used by any other systems running on the sim. The document with the program information shows 5400 and onwards being used as an examp...
