hvala liepa Gorchi, your help is always very fruitfull. I fully agree with all what you say about people and way to practice. I was not complaining, just try to better explain why I was looking for somebody experience about led resistance, just as a short cut to longer experiments. You gave me the k...

Warvet, I have NO specification about the FDS square leds apart from a message from Peter that they use 2V voltage. This is precisely my problem. I am afraid that we do not understand each other. I am looking after FDS square leds specs. In particular any spec which allows to compute the additional ...

Thank you, pdpo. However this answer is less usefull than the previous one. I regularly use a multimeter since almost 50 years, but you know that it cannot serve as a potentiometer to put in line with the LED. Speaking of the "seller which should provide the direct current spec", unfortunately, in m...

LED resistance computation problem

I know that one need to put a resistance in serie with LEDs to stabilize their current and avoid burning them. I know how to compute it from data such as internal resistance and/or current intensity and/or voltage although these values are not always linear. The problem I have with FDS rectangular L...

Need help about LED wiring

I have started wiring LEDS of my MIP K1 buttons. I have seen the posts about LED wiring from august 05 in this forum. I want to test my soldering and illuminate each LED once to verfy the quality of each soldering. I use the red, green and yellow rectangular LEDs provided by FDS. How many ohms shoul...

Thank you Peter.

I had just found it by myself.

Just a question of french/english vocabulary.

I was not familiar with the term "news group" and confused it with promotional news like the front page of FDS web.

Regards

JPP

Warvet, I like your sense of humour Frans, to show you how stupid I am, finding the PM forum is typically something I tried early.... with no success. Don't help me yet because I need to make some progress ! I am glad to know that, indeed there is a PM forum somewhere. With this clue in mind,I shall...

Warvet. Believe I appreciate very much the help of the forum community. Specialy Frans who took the time to answer 7 or 8 times in the file to my sometimes obscure questions with a great deal of patience and knowledge. And this was extremely beneficial since I really think I went out of an extremely...

Frans, Again I appreciated very much your help. But stop telling me I must read the documentation like if I was a child :P Countrary to the youngers, I allways read anything I can before asking. I admit that sometimes, I can be a little clumsy 8) but, really do not accuse me to not read the doc, ple...

Thank you for trying to awake me  But I sware to you that there is no such things as a menu in the demo vesrsion I have (or with the graphic driver I have) . The only things that CTR+T does is that it reduces the size of the PF/ND window by one step. But netherless, since F7 function works, it ...

PM support gave me the key. You have to know that you can see the bottom ECAM screen in the PF/ND demo if you hit the F7 key. Then you can turn the pages with CTL-TAB. Difficult to find alone !

No, or I am very dumb (which can very well be a possibility  ).

The overhead demo only show a picture of the overhead panel where you can activate switches with your mouse. Nowhere on the 4 PM demos do I see a bottom ECAM display even inactive.
