Tim, I am actually using 4 projectors, 2 for the front view and 1 for the left and 1 for the right view. If you scroll down the page you can see the projectors better, the black painting wasn't done then. Previously I used only 1 projector for the front in combination with a mirror but as the screen...

I studied quit a bit on the "crab" effect, that is the result of a 3D image projected on 2D. You will see that if you are standing in the middle of the cockpit the runway will be aligned, the more you move to the left or right in the cockpit, the more the runway will crab. The FS image is made for m...

Thanks, Well in fact I do not really have a flat ceiling, the walls are 2.9 meter high and the top of the roof is 4.0 meter high. As my flightdeck is 2.8 high the projectors are placed just above it so in fact 3.0 meter would do it. It is good to have some free space above the projectors for cooling...

Hi Tim,

Wat is the resolution of your projector ? 3500 lumens is the way I would like to go. I have XGA right now with 2500 lumens but I would like to upgrade and revert to DLP.

To jump in, how about the kittyhawk boeing 737 series available as freeware.
I have tried it, and I think it is not bad compared to the PMDG, I did not try the Ariane.

Hi all, Well yes indeed, I am projecting on a white painted brick wall, for testing purpose. Now that I am happy with the result, I will make projection walls of them, first covering them with gyproc. They will be finished with a special projection structure called "ICE" from Boss paints. I saw test...

That is OK for me Maurice, now about the 10K I assume that should work also but all the examples I found used 100K, I also did on a previous setup and that worked fine. So I took no risks.
