Thanks a ton Chris. What I really want to know is this: Is the plastic mouldings that go underneath the windows where the charts and books go to the left of the Captain/Right of the FO the same plastic that goes in the 737? Thanks again for your answer. Eric No, they are completely different, other...

Re: Daft question....

Sorry to drop in on this so late.... Chad - why on earth are you selling 2 control columns for $950 or individually for $450? Either my maths are terrible or you have gone mad? This doesn't make much sense to me - would it be worth potentially ordering twice with you to save $50? Cheers Oh my. :rol...

Why quit when you're so far ahead

Hi Simpals, I haven't posted an update on my sim for a while as a result of my move, but things are starting to move forward again. I just bought a metal 737 cockpit frame and a professional set of dual jet-style rudder pedals from Project Magenta, and let me tell you, I must be insane to spend that...

Chad Wrote; am interested in powering up and powering down my entire sim with just one switch. Perhaps I misunderstood this. I do remember you turning on each computer, but from that quote I took it you had developed something else. I didn't mean to be critical. That is how I do mine now, but i don...

Re: SELCAL

On thing I would like to try is a SELCAL panel that is actually Computer Power.... IF you look on some variants of the NG you see a panel in the pedestal that is called a SELCAL.. Selective Calling... Its actually five annunciators that will blink when someone is trying to contact your specific air...

I don't own the G1....yet, and this makes sense to me. The power from the USB kind of equates to the battery in your computer. Computer power is off, but it still keeps time. And when FS comes alive, and Wideserver is available, then let the communications begin. Controlling everything with one swi...

Re: Powered Hub

Chad..... 2) If a powered USB Hub is being used: from Enrico's quote above.. What Enrico advises is very factual and very accurate. PC (is is just me or is Chad trying to wind me up?? :) ) Ha Ha  Maybe I didn't word it the best. I just want a more efficient way for running the G1 during the po...

I thought that was the problem. I guess what I am shooting for is to find an automated way to keep the G1 from loosing its source of power. Do you think by connecting the G1 USB cable to a powered USB hub that the hub will keep power to the G1?

Re: Updates.

We are not seeing any issues on the Power up part of this.. You might try reinstalling the drivers.. In the folder you unzip there is an EXE file for removing the existing drivers. Once that is done you reload and reassign the COMM Port in the MCP INI file. The FDS-G1 section.. That is the one to a...
