The New Horizon Flight Simulation

Post by Pochflyboy »

Well I was browsing today, and I came across the old Horizon flight simulators company. First thing I noticed is that it had changed names to Universal Flight Controls. Second thing I noticed was that this company had really changed for the better. IF you look at the detail and the quality of their wheels now compared to back a year ago. THEY LOOK AMAZING! The fact that Michael is willing to put large high resolution pics of his products on his web page now, says a lot about the products he is offering. I am not going to rush out and buy one of these right now until I start hearing positive things about these yokes, but I really think that the business has possibly taken a complete 180 degree turn! :D

WOW! Sounds like Colorado is the place to be for Sim builders! I know Chad just moved here too. And also there is the all famous Jon Boe up in Denver...!

But Michael still owes me updated product, which he promiced a year ago, but I have never heard from him ever since. Anyway for those who do no know what I am talking about - just look what I got from him for $700 after a lot of hassle & unexcused delays:

I just remind the discussion from a year ago:

So maybe his new company performs well, but first they cheated myself, many other people (including Jonathan Richardson of Project Magenta, who is owed $2.000) and refrain from any contact, despite of tens of reminder e-mails.

Michal,

I have to say that I was left speechless after reading (trust me people, if you have not read Michal's story on the link above, you have to) the entire story about you and your yoke from Horizon. What a crook!

Thanks for exposing people like this to us, the possible victims.

Best regards,

Well though it looks as if he has improved his products, the prices are now outragious. He quoted me almost $5,000.00 for a SINGLE CRJ wheel. Not for the column or anything, JUST THE CONTROL WHEEL!!!

I am sry that he has not fixed his pervious problems with his customers, as he said he would do in his post. Guess I was wrong about him turining his buisness around!
