Hello,,

Thanks Frans...

I mention that in the real A340, there is no switches for the Auto Land and CAPT F/O . There is just LED and you can't push it. Is it true?

Maytham,

Think Tim can fill in that question for you as a A340 builder...

Thought wing panels were the same for A320/A340.. My autoland is a push button as also the CAPT / FO one... (priority buttons)

Switches

Post by pcos »

Same for all A320/A330/A340

The Caution and Warning Items are switches.
The Other two are Annunciators.
One trick. Not sure if you are aware..
On Airbus..
If you look closely at the switches, you will see two visible types.
The Switch part looks the same on all. The surround of the switch that is in slightly deeper, part of the mounting is different.
If you see Black. that is an annunciator.
If you see silver, that is a switch.
Small thing but useful.
Example is the ADIRS panel. you can see both.

Maytham,
I agree with Peter, this is how I determine the difference between switches and annunciators. Also I am using Red for Mst Warn Yellow for Mst Caution. Hope this helps

Hello Gus,,

I have alittle bit sugestion for the AP1/AP2/ATH to discuse it with you.

I use 3 of 4holes plastic holder and the LEDS is assemble in it.

Undeneath that i put the 4cut holes of the plastic holder and then under it i fix the omron switch.

What do you think guys of this, Is it correct to do that. Please let me know.

Actually in my opinion if peter uses the Illminuated switch for the FCU it will be more easy and better.
