Found a way to "enlighten" that FDS panel
Leds can be fired selectively according to the flaps/slats position.

Actually, the design can be improved by recessing the leds behind the holes (which should be laser cutouts of appropriate shape) and by applying stripes of green and amber filters in front. Light bleeding could be a problem though.
The way I did is fast and easy
Round holes are drilled in the panel for the leds to go through
Two very small holes for each led wires are drilled in the backer, the leds sit on the backer and wires are set with hot glue.
Link to the sim can be either with flaps position and/or with the transit/extended MIP anunnciators _________________ Jack

Jack,
This looks great. I do have a question though (a couple actually for now anyway). Where the heck is this FDS panel located?
Also, do the LEDs light up in sequence (1-2-3-4) or all at once?
Thanks,
Maurice |

1) aft overhead panel
2) they light up in rows according to the flaps/slats position, in transit, extended, fully extended, stowed(no lights)
Rather sexy panel , better see the explainations in B.Bulfer 737 Guide _________________ Jack

Ahhh!. So, a long, long, long way for me to get there yet. . Sometimes "I dream of Jeannie". Would be nice to have someone that can materialize things for you
