Very clever...
The things you think about over breakfast... Staring at that cap... Thinking like a builder... "What can I use this for....?"

Been ages since of posted here, but seeing this - brilliant!

Also, Jack, a question - How did you manage to paint the lightplate on your timer module from brown to grey whilst protecting the writing from filling with paint?

Thank you Pete, aviation at large is the motivator.
and sharing with fellow nuts is what keeps it going..
Small projects, great fun.

Karl, look closely, the engraving was masked and you may see a bit of tan between the letters.
Once on the OVH with the backlighting on, you cant notice it.
Easy way out!

Jack

Thanks Jack, I can see it now. Obviously, I didn't look close enough.

Sharing another unorthodox non-Boeing variation.
Handy panel for ATC interaction, External viewpoint adjusment, Zoom and moving map options.
30 functions altogether.
One of a kind custom made IBL panel by FDS based on a 747 design.
I will use Dzus once finalized.
I hooked it to a Bodnar joystick card, but it can also work with a SysCard.
Happy camper

FDS design
Feel is equally good, neat click.
Location allows quick action too.

Busy (ie:non Sim) summer, but I managed to finish the CB panels.
400+ FDS repros later, screwed in one by one ..!

Looks even better than shown here.

They look fantastic Jack!

Might motivate me to pull mine out and get them done over the coming winter.

Sidewall improvement, (inspired by the latest FDS DSTD)
Easy to "homebuild" for a few $
