Rudder Trim Module Not working

Post by HowardChristian »

I have the FDS Rudder Trim Module & the Trim_Module.exe v1.0 but is not working.
This used to work fine. I've tried reInstalling several times with no luck.

Hoping someone maybe able to assist please.

I follow the Innstructions exactly. The Module is Detected & I can assign the Serial No ok. But when I do the calibration there is no movement of the Needle.

If I open the Phidgets21 Control Panel the Servo Control Motor is shown.
Dble Clicking this will opens a Window; Servo-Full. At the bottom is a Slider.
Moving this Slider the FDS Trim Module Needle will move.
But I cannot move the Needle by turning the Module Knob.
FSUIPC is detected & Flightsim is running.

The Module software displays:
9:46:03 PM : Version : 1.0
9:46:03 PM : Reading Serial Numbers
9:46:03 PM : Servo Board 1 Serial No (CPT Trim) Not Specified
9:46:03 PM : Servo Board 2 Serial No (FO Trim) Not Specified
9:46:03 PM : Reading Serial Numbers - Completed
9:46:03 PM : Waiting for Devices to Connect...
Device: Phidget Servo Controller 1-motor Serial No: 45544 Version: 313
*** CONFIGURATION SAVED ***
*** CONFIGURATION SAVED ***

The config.ini file reads:
[PHIDGETS_SERIAL_NUMBERS]
// Trim Servo Units
SERVO1_CPT_TRIM=0
SERVO2_FO_TRIM=0
SERVO3_RUDDER_TRIM=45544

[TRIM]
CPT_SERVO_MAX=180
CPT_SERVO_MIN=1
REVERSE_CPT_DIRECTION=0

FO_SERVO_MAX=180
FO_SERVO_MIN=0
REVERSE_FO_DIRECTION=0

RUDDER_SERVO_MAX=176
RUDDER_SERVO_MIN=5
REVERSE_RUDDER_DIRECTION=0

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Howard.

Hey Howard- Did you ever find a solution to this?
Having similar issue here on my T7.
Everything works well inside SA but no needle movement.
