Night Lighting Perfection

Post by Michael_B767_ATP »

Hi Everyone,

This is it! The FO view looks amazing and this is reduced from 4K to 1600x900. I also managed to reduce the highway lighting so it's not so overpowering anymore.

I'm done playing with night lighting. :D

I agree, the vehicular traffic adds so much to the realism to the approach.

Michael,

It's looking great. I'm considering experimenting with Xplane. One question ; are you running X-plane on several PC's and the syncing the displays together, or is it multi-displays on one PC?

If the former, how do you find the synchronisation; is it smooth?

Regards

Simon.

Hi Simon,

I'm running one computer for each display (Left, Center, Right) and everything (as far as the displays are concerned) are setup right inside Xplane11.

Keep in mind there are issues getting this working with Sim-A. Some have had better success with X737 over the Zibo.

If you want to get an idea on smoothness, have a look at my lumbering video. I did this in an F4 with afterburners. The flight deck is turned off, no idea how fast I was going.
