docking gates in FS9

Post by jackpilot »

Why all "medium" gates in Fs9 airports are too high for the 737 to dock to?
Hav'nt checked all airports but most major ones....
What do you think of it....I'll have to inflate the chutes

Thought they were supposed to park at small gates? I know that is the parking radius anyway.

You are right though, too high. Just have your mechanics over-inflate your tires by 1,000 psi or so, should do the trick

Jack,
Maybe your virtual passengers in your virtual airplane can virtually fly out to the high virtual gates and pickup their virtual luggage on the virtual carousel . When I think of the early days of PC flight simulation, I'm amazed at how spoiled we have all become. Personally, I will not be satisfied until I can have a virtual flight attendant pamper me during those long flights. My (real) wife is only committing herself to bring me a virtual coffee now & then

The solution is easy, once parked, just use the 'slew' mode to raise the aircraft to the correct height. Then in the words of someone famous, you say; "Now what?"
