Hey,
I have some questions concerning the MCDU working, maybe here, somebody is able to help me.
First, is it possible for the MCDU, to differ between right Labels from other subsystems and data trash (e.g. becaus of a malfunction)? And how will it respond to trash?
And the second, why is the MCDU powered by 115VAC? Why not 28VDC?
Sorry, but I'm not really into it.
Please help!

Hello Rosa,
I am not sure i follow you complete but what is your direct problem? Are you talking about the CDU hardware or the software( keysettings) or are you talking about the screen of the cdu?
So far i know you have a 5 volt version of your CDU..
Maybe some more info and i can try to help you
gr.

Okay...I'm really sorry about talking useless things.
Yes, Stef is right, I'm talking about a real one. I'm looking for a specialist in real MCDUs, respectively in MCDUs and ARINC 429 Communication. Despairingly, I hoped to meet here, in this forum.
Not a good idea?
Anyway, maybe here is somebody who's into it (in real)??????????
Or does someone has an idea, where I could find some specialists?
Please!!!!!
Sorry Franz,I put you off the scent, but thank you very much!
