Keep the eight-groups apart. You do not save that much wiring anyway.

Even if it is possible (which I doubt), you'll end up creating a more complex setup. Cable spaghetti does look awful, but it is easy to debug. "Smart solutions" to save time and effort seldom gives good results when voltages is in the picture.
How did I find out? Try to change an earthed heater without pulling the cirquit breaker first, and you too will know... :)

If it is possible, move your wiring around so that the dim and full on comes from neighbouring outputs. That makes things so much easier!

yeah yeah yeah...nah.

like you said i have to move my wiring around so the dim comes from same output group.....was too lazy to do it....but i just have to get of my ass and fix it.

when i wired up, i forgot about dim and bright in my haste...a bit.

Hello,
Got a question regarding the wiring of the bright blue LED:s to the SYS board.
I read in the forum that it is important to get these LED:s together in the matrix of the sys board so that they don’t interfere with the other LED:s
Does this mean that if I always use pin 7 and 8 for the blue LED:s I’m going to be fine.
How does the matrix run on the board? Do I block all pin 7:s and 8:s or are they grouped?

Another thing:
I got the cross feed LED dim and bright state to work as it should since I found the Hi / Lo variable names in PMSystems. But I am not able to get the engine valves and the spar valves to work.
I think I got it setup as SteveW suggested but when I set up interfaceIT to use offset 57AE with “on” bit 0 for dim and bit 1 for bright the LED turns on dim and stays like this all the time no matter what the PMSystems graphics is showing. In PMSystems the graphics changes between the dim, bright and off state but nothing changes with my output.
Does anyone have an .xml for this or any suggestion?

Check the PMsystems menu in useroptions and put a check on Valves. I had the same problem!

Wiring Super Bright LEDs on SYS boards

PM,
You are correct. Each pin number is a "Thread". On a SYS1 board with 64 connectors.... every PIN 1 is in its own thread.
Your question on if you can have BLUE LEDs on pins 7 and 8. Perfect.
That would isolate them and prevent changing the overall "circuitry" the board sees.
Ideal way to do it.

Got all 9 dual state LED:s wired up but (Using the schematics earlier in this thread) I can’t get the wing and engine anti ice to work in both dim and bright state.
I get all four of them to work in the dim state but none to go bright.
I use the following offsets:

579C .0 Anti1WingIceDim
579C .1 Anti1WingIceBrite

579D .0 Anti2WingIceDim
579D .1 Anti2WingIceBrite

5658 .0 CowlVal1DIM
5658 .1 CowlVal1Brite

5659 .0 CowlVal2Dim
5659 .1 CowlVal2Brite

Has anyone been succesful in setting up these LED:s

I have had them working. Have you tried downloading the XML's located within InterfaceIT? Keep in mind you also have to enable Bright / Dim within the PM Systems menu.
