Hello Fellow Simbuilders,
I have just received my FDS Forward and Aft over head panels... very nice indeed!!!
I was wondering what other sim builders were using for overhead gauges?
I would love to use the Simworld ones if they fitted...
Cheers _________________ KiwiBuilder NZ

I used Flight Illusion Gauges which I designed and 3D printed new bezels for so that they fit into the overheads.

Flight Illusion Gauges are the Go To Gauge. I've installed Yaw Damper on MIP, Overhead Pressure & Climb Gauges, Cabin Temp Gauge. Some are straight drop in others need "Mods". But Sim-Avionics v1.7 works great with the gauges I have installed. Looking forward to installing some more. Hopefully the Flight Illusions MIP Clocks will be included in Sim Avionics v1.8 _________________ Pat

Hi Pat,
I'm using the gauges as well. How did you integrate them in Sim-A.
I still use the controller software from FI. Or is this still the way to go?

SYSBoard Controller in Sim-Avionics has a Flight Illusion Tab for the gauges. _________________ Steve Cos

I’ve finished installing all of the Flight Illusion B737 gauges in the Overhead, FLAPS & Yaw Damper on the MIP. The O.H. Fuel Temp was difficult. The F.I. Gauge has a capacitor that has to be unsoldered and flipped over to the top of the PCB. PLUS the FDS OH X-Crossfeed Open Light that butts up against the bottom of the F.I. gauge is problematic. I had to notch a 1/8” cut into the bottom of a new gauge to make it fit. It would be helpful if FDS & Flight Illusion could resolve this fit problem. Most of the Flight Illusion Gauges fit in the Overhead & MIP with little work but a few gauges were real head-scratchers. On a brighter note it’s nice that Mark at Sim-Avionics has integrated the Flight Illusion gauges into v1.7.... I look forward to the CO & FO Clocks working in Sim Avionics. _________________ Pat
