I must miss something ...

Cruise, VNAV LNAV all fine

Buffet alert, as speed is bleeding off, AT still on but does not react.
Pushing on the TQ levers does the trick though.

How come AT is not active and TQ is !
Note: my TQ is NOT motorized.

Jack

Besides that ...having a blast with V4.

Jack
Take a look at page 43 in v1.80 User Manual, p31 also. Sounds like its related to your condition.

Aircraft Details > Aircraft Options 2
Ensure "Set Manual Throttle in HOLD" is set to : NEVER

At T/D the throttles are moved to Idle then they switch to ARM or HOLD.
If the option is set to "Always" or "Exclude T/O" control will immediately revert to manual throttles. So on a non-motorised TQ you will need to have already placed your throttles into IDLE.. (prior to T/D)

With a non-motorised TQ the NEVER option is probably better.
In that mode the A/T will retain control of the throttles through all phases, except in 'Manual Mode' (A/T Disconnected)
