Hi,

I'm having an issue with my rudder trim so I tried to uninstall and reinstall the trim module and phidget module.

I'm stuck. I uninstalled the trim module okay, but the phidget module won't uninstall and is now corrupt. During the uninstall I get a 1001 error and during a new install it tells me a newer version is installed and ends.

Need some help in removing this from the Windows 7 pro registry.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner

Here's the tool I use since many years to delete temporary files and registery, the advantage is that the program ask you if you want to save a backup file with the registery before to delete it. The backup file will be sent in Windows "My documents". Just download the free version, this will delete the remainning phidgets registery and normally allow you to reinstal the phidgets and the trim module.

Hope this will help.
Daniel

Hi,

That cleaned everything out and let me reinstall, now to see if it's working.

Thanks!

You're welcome!
Just hope your trim module works again.
