Hi guys. I'm in some desperate need of help here. I've been trying to solve this for about 10 days now without success ...

I was running version 1.7 with Windows 7 without issues, using two avionics pcs (both of them i7's with 3 geforce GT-610 video cards). When I decided to upgrade to 1.9, I've also upgraded to Windows 10, so I formatted both machines and performed a clean install of Win 10 Home Edition (64 bits). I installed Sim-Avionics 1.9 but, after 10-20 minutes running, all the displays start crashing and closing themselves (clocks, eicas, pfd and so on). On event viewer, the faulting module name is always KERNELBASE.dll. So here's what I have done so far, without success (after reseaching online for kernelbase.dll errors):

.Updated all drivers and perfomed a full Windows Update
.Checked the video card temperatures, found nothing wrong.
.Tried registering the dll with admin rights
.Uninstalled the most up to date video card driver and installed an older one, just to make shure the current driver is not faulty.
.Formatted the machines again and reinstalled Windows 7
.Ran the displays as administrators and also in windows 7 and 8 compatibility mode. (with windows 8 compatibility mode, the crashes take longer to begin, and on one computer the event viewer no longer showed KERNELBASE.dll as the faulting module, but user32.dll).
.Turned off windows firewall, antivirus and everything else ...

I just can't think of anything else to try. A friend suggested to try Win 10 Pro. I can't have the sim grounded anymore, it's been more than 10 days ... I'd really appreciate some help !!

Thanks

Eduardo

Eduardo

After 20 minutes the Trial Version of Sim Avionics stops working.
Make sure that Sim Avionics is activated properly in the Server.

Cheers
Michael

Make sure you are running the same version on all PC's.

Make sure the License is registered to you. (as Michael mentioned) B737 DSTD

Your name down by the bottom of the Server.

This kind of error?

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3436396/kernelbase-dll-error-windows.html

Seems to be something in your computer maybe? There are many Kernelbase errors.

Maybe you need a full Windows 10 Install? Not the upgrade.

Hi Steve

I’m pretty sure it’s an issue in my computer, hence nobody else has reported this error.

I went through all these fixes which I found online, without success.

Regarding Win 10, I didn’t do the upgrade, but a full install. This is crazy !!

I have no idea what to do now. I really need some expert help to take a look at things ...
