KSLC to KDEN - Xplane 11 video

Post by Michael_B767_ATP »

Hi Everyone,

Well, I've been feeling better every day and decided to spend today in the sim. I continued where I left off at Salt Lake City and headed to Denver.

This is Xplane 11.30b2 with Zibo mod 3.31d installed.

Amazing scenery.
ATC sound : maybe feeding it direct to the camera (not through speaker-mike) would sound better?

PS:Do not ask me how to .....lol

Hi Jack,

Yeah, she is coming along. I'm not even using ortho yet and it looks good, it's only going to get better once I add ortho to the mix.

I try to run live ATC when I make my videos, today that's the way the sounds came direct from ATC. Wouldn't of sounded any better connected direct I'm afraid.

thanks

That is a fantastic simulator sir. Kudos!!!

Its posts (and videos) like this that drive me to build.

Quick question. I see you manipulating the throttles. No automated throttles? This is a big topic for us as we plan and proceed.

Just found many of your other videos on Youtube. I'm going to be busy tonight watching and learning.

Hi,

My throttles are non motorized, you can get them with stepper motors if you like. But I opted to save the cash for other sim build items.

A/T still works in the sim, just that the levers don't move.

I hope you enjoy the videos. I make them because I remember watching others with their sims, while I was saving up for mine. Took many years saving, but it was worth the wait as well as every penny spent on the deck.

The videos kept me excited along the way, knowing that one day I'll have one.
