Dear all,

after updating to V1.85 i had huge problems with my FLT Data Rate / AP Rate dropping to 1-2fps intermittent and the aircraft was not flyable anymore.

I updated all programs on my Avionics PC. On my P3D PC i dont have any SA programs installed.

Can someone help with this topic and give me a hint what to do? I never had problems until updating to 1.85.

Greetings

Double check your Wideclient > FS connection.
Those kind of rate usually mean there's no FS connection.

Hi Mark,

i did during flight. Closed down the server again and Wide client and reconnected again and then it worked again for 1.5 hrs and then dropped again although FSUIPC and all other stuff was running easily.

Also the AS16 WX image was shown on the ND.
Thats the strange part, normally i had steady 15fps and since update yesterday not anymore.

Will try again tonight and will check again.

Check if you see anything unusual in the Wideclient log.

Did the rate drop for 30-60 secs then restore or drop and remain low ?
A temporary drop in update rates can be cause when AS is making an update.

The rate dropped for around 10 mins until i stopped the server and started up again. than it worked fine again.

And then after 1.5 hrs the same thing again...
AS has never been a problem so far.

Hi Mark

will post the WC log after landing but i had again the problem. Only shutting down the server and starting up again solved the problem.

I am still using P3D V3 but that cannot be the problem or?
Also i am on TCP and not UDP, would changing that help?

Greetings

Interesting comments Marco,

My sim ceases to respond intermittently ever since I upgraded to SimA 1.85.

I updated P3dv4.0 to v4.2. and FSUIPC to 5.123e at the same time and I was pretty confident that the problem was related to FSUIPC and/ or P3D as restarting WIDE FS on my SimA server PC always fixed the issue.

I will keep an eye on the FLT Data Rate/ AP rate next time this happens.

Thomas

I know there was a problem with one of the latest FSUIPC versions when v4.2 was released.. But I believe this has been corrected now.

I am having a similar problem. Confused After a few min, A/P and Flt Data rates drop to 1 fps. The sim does not work correctly at this setting. SA is running on my P3D V4 rig so there is not Wideserver issue here. After upgrading from 1.90 to 1.91, I was able to complete several flights without issue.

The only thing that has changed is:
GSX update
Update from 1.90 to 1.91

CPU usage is at 57% with everything running. Very little fluctuation. P3D remains at about 30-40 fps

I am not sure what to do here. Any thoughts?

Rick
