JetMax NAVCOMM1 and XPNDR panels Software

Post by skysurfer »

Hello.
Trying to separate my topics to isolate the issue.
I have JetMax NAVCOMM1 and XPNDR panels. Both shown as PnP. I connected them via USB. So to make them work with P3D PMDG aircraft what else do I need? What kind of software do I have to install and where? There is not much information on JetMax website. I only noticed under the product picture the link to install the driver.
So I installed that driver and in the folder where I installed it I found orange JetMax exe file along with some FSUIPC files. I am wondering if I need anything else. So far running JetMax exe file doesn’t make panels to work. FSUIPC doesn’t recognize panels either.
I am not building cockpit, I am just trying to use those panels with P3D4 and PMDG aircraft. Thanks

From Tekworx:

“The driver he is running is older and should be upgraded to the latest (v2.0.6). That may resolve the issue as there was a fix for v4 where the driver wasn’t loading anymore.

Fsuipc is only needed if they want to communicate with an avionics package like sim avionics and have the extra functions of the xpndr work. If he doesn’t have any avionics software then I wouldn’t load that module (xpndr2fsuipc). “
